Topographic Surveys
A topographic survey depicts the topography or the “lay of the land” of a specific parcel or project area. Elevations, natural features, and desired improvements are measured as part of the survey process. The information is plotted on a scaled drawing with interpolated contours to give a clear representation of the surface features.
A boundary survey with topographic data collection is the first step in determining site feasibility and lays the ground work for site design development by the engineer and architect.
